I completely agree that technology helps us in enhancing our innovative skills. This time it was #hpinkadvantage – HP printer. After watching the demo given by the anchor, I was thinking of my school days. I remember when I participated in fancy dress competition. My parents didn’t sleep and made that Colgate paper dress for me in the late night. I wish if this technology was invented in that time I could have won 1st position instead of 2nd. The dress they made for me was good, but with the use of HPinkjet technology, it could have got vibrant looks in lesser time. Well, that’s a part. I don’t have a habit of regretting things. But, what I want to say is that technology really helps us in getting out with some innovation.

Earlier, you need to buy colorful story books for your children, but now, you can simply create short motivational series and make them print out for your children. Isn’t cool? Learning and enjoying together. Aaah I wish I could be a kid again!

Colgate Dress

Yes! That’s me :)

That hidden artist inside me

“So, are you ready for today Ankita?” I mumbled while looking into the mirror. Indiblogger once again announced meet in Delhi and I was super excited even more than my first Indimeet. One thing which I like about Inditeam is that they never disappoint any Indiblogger. I am saying this because I have seen how much they are dedicated for them. Well, this time it was something different. Different because it was the first time in the history of Indiblogger meets that an Indiblogger can attend the meet along with his/her family members. Sounds good na? Even I was happy when I came to know about this. I registered my name along with my fiance.

I remember my first Microsoft 365 office meet. The passion, the feel, the crowd and everything else made me to fall in love. Remembering that day I reached up to the location – Global Arcade, M.G. Road, Gurgaon with my fiance.

Energetic Iyaan

The Most Energetic Kid- Iyaan

“He is so cute!” I shouted like a child while seeing a little kid playing inside the hall.

It was just amazing. Bloggers and their family- it was mind blowing concept of Indimeet about HP Print Art. From “Old McDonald had a farm to theme birthday party organizing,” everything was overwhelming. This time I got the chance for – ‘30 Second fame’ for which, I waited since last meet.

Technology

Technology Innovates Life!

The interesting moment for all indibloggers was when they had given us 30 minutes for planning an event party. We got the Pirate theme and the team was – Mickey Advantage. And yes! We won cute HP speakers. Oh! I forget to add that my fiance also won 500 bucks in the number game; thanks to my choice of number ;)

We are family

We are family!

I only got disappointed at Lunch table. Guys please, next time add some more veg dishes in the list. Anyways! Talking about the meet experience – it was FUN-filled-time. Love you Inditeam!!

Sometimes in life, you face few unexpected moments, which give you a blend of tears and pleasure at a same time. The girl Anushka was thinking to write down this same feeling few days back and thanked a person who was the reason behind it via the post on her blog. He does not know what he did then, but Anushka thanked him to treat her that time nicely. In life, there are people who are somewhere responsible for the hidden pain inside you, and they are the one who can only console you for that. She still finds her friends talking about him. They still ask her whether she has moved on or not. That is not a question, she says every time to them – “Of course, I moved on. But, that doesn’t mean I can hear anything for him. I know few of you will see this with a doubt; my friend and even my fiancé sometimes taunts me about the same. But, I think when you know your misdeeds, you don’t have any right to point out someone else mistakes. What he did was his part of story, and what I did was mine. No one has right to judge him or me.” (more…)

I was so depressed after hearing the suicide news of young actress Jiah Khan … not because I am a huge fan of her, but because she killed herself for the sake of someone who did not even bothered, who had never and will never care for her presence or absence. I got a list of thousand questions and nil answer for them has made my soul so uncomfortable… I have heard of Shivani when I was only 10 years… then heard of Jessica, Parveen Babi and then Damini… read a lot about all the woman and has always thought to talk to them… until the day I found this application named we chat where I could easily group people to talk and so tried finding the souls with the help of my friend… soon we got connected to all the victims since I born and brought up… here I am writing the whole chat we all did when I asked a simple question in the group.

It’s when my friends’ (Harry) girlfriend (Shikha) asked him what he will do if their parents won’t agree to let them get married. She also told him that she will kill herself for him just like Juliet did for Romeo, if that so happen. When my friend told me about this, I was actually thinking of the story- The Romeo and Juliet. (more…)

It’s earth which has given handful of resources to us and what we have done in return? Ozone depletion, noise pollution, water pollution, air pollution and planning to create another category for pollution, may be sick-o-llution. I named this term because of our sick mentality that tend us to think its earth which is polluted. NO. It’s WE who polluted it. We usually write ‘there is pollution in the air.’ Sorry! But its incomplete. We need to say there is pollution in the air because of US. We are responsible for the changing weather, early monsoon, high tides, tsunami and so on. It’s not a nature call, and can never be. It’s human who call the nature by himself.

You hear news about unexpected weather change, rains, drought, etc. The channels show how many died in the flood or how many got injured, but have they told the reason and how to beat the situations? They only tell the factual things, and forget to work behind those facts. Many campaigns are running like planting trees or saving water, but why it’s still not working? Get the signs people! You need to be a LOUDER this time. For every change, you need to start it from your place.

  • Start planting trees or small plants at your terrace, it looks COOL :)
  • Stop taking bath in a tub, you are not a buffalo who needs that much water ;)
  • Start taking initiatives to let people know how much it’s important to SAVE YOURSELF, they will do it even in selfishness.
  • Don’t wait someone will come and teach you how to use taps. You are already learning since your school days.
  • Turn off the lights when you don’t need it, there are places where electricity is still praised like the God.
  • On facebook, twitter, tumblr, or at your blog, try to create awareness, people are really dumb to listen radios and news channels. And we know, social media can do it faster than any other media.
  • Start putting a big bowl of water and your wasted rice or chapattis (into pieces) outside your verandah or at terrace, so that birds can satisfy their hunger. Remember, humanity costs nothing.
  • You may be a rich kid of your parents who can’t breadth without AC. Trust me you can. Let the fresh air enter your home.
  • Try to use public transportation wherever possible. For short distance travelling, leave your bike for showcase. Walking is better than riding.

You are a victim of sick-o-llution if you still think that nothing will work. Start working over these points. I am sure, YOU  We can fight and win the battle. You need to decide it now because we are not in the hands of this nature, but the nature itself is in our hands. Listen it, hear it the nature call, it is saying “save me, only you can do something.’

“Get out old man! What are you doing here in my living room?” Shaiyna shouted over Ram Babu (Shaiyna is his daughter-in-law). Ram babu was a shopkeeper and during his young days he spent all the money to make his son well-educated and got the best of education. Now, Shivam (his son) is a deputy in charge in income tax department. This happens almost every day with him, whenever he tries to get a little attention or a bit more convenience from his son or daughter in law, he gets more negligence. Ram Babu used to spend his days in a guest room. He sometimes enters in Shivam’s room to talk, but his wife gets him out of their room and shut the doors on his face. He remembers how his beloved wife asked him to save something for their old age or at least let the son live with them instead of hostel, so that the bond of father-son shall remain alive. But Ram babu always denied her words and aimed to get the best of education for his son by sending him in a hostel.  Shivam got selected for his government job and the day come when he got married to a beautiful and educated girl like him who also worked as a government employee in the same department.

father-son-bond“Thank god you left early and made a place in heaven Shailja” Ram babu sighed while looking up on the sky. “Daddu, you can eat these sandwiches, I promise I will not tell anyone at home,” his 6 years old Aarush (grandson) looked at him with mercy and picked out a bread piece from his Tiffin to give him in his same old aluminium plate which was kept separately for him only.  The days passed by in the same grief of having no emotional attachment with his son. The days passed by in the same grief of not listening to those warnings that his wife used to give him always.

Sometimes we missed some of the warnings that life give us through our loved ones in hope of a better tomorrow we ignore today and thus it happens , he always thought of going back in the time where he could teach his son the values instead of making him the brightest mind ever.

loneliness

We usually neglect signs that life gives to us. Never ignore them because in the end you will either left with happiness or loneliness.

The day comes when the old man Ram babu died and shivam had to take leave from his office. The couple made all dishes and completed his obsequy with rituals. They finally donated all the old man’s cloths at old age home. They threw his bedding out to make the room spacious. Suddenly Aarush shouted “what are you guys doing there with all that stuff? Can I please have that old aluminium plate and bowl of grandpa in which you give them food?” Couple looked at him and asked the reason for keeping the plate and bowl with him? Aarush told them “years after, you guys will also get old and just like dad did with grand pa, I will also give food to both of you in these plates and bowls.”The little Aarush answered and shocked the couple. This is now a warning for Shivam and Shaiyna. Will they ignore it just like Ram babu did? Or will they understand that they were lacking in taking the life with emotional perspective as well? Well, it depends on them.

Signs are created for making us understand about the things. Walking on a road when red light turns green is also a sign when you need to stop, it depends on you whether you understand and catch the right signal at right moment or not. It’s better to catch the right signals before you left with regression.

Regret

NOTE  - I thank my friend who told me this real life story and through which I got something purposeful to share.

100 post

So, it’s my hundredth post write up. I don’t know till when I will update this blog. Maybe for years… Who knows? I mean, I can’t predict what will happen with me in future, but that doesn’t mean I should ignore it. Of course, we are liable for what we were yesterday, but that doesn’t mean it will continue for today and tomorrow. Time changes faster than we think. I started this blog just like for fun when I was in school. I still can see my first post, but due to lack of knowledge, moreover unaware of the power of words, I stopped blogging. Few time later, I visit my blog and done posting again. I wonder why I could not understand the meaning of blogging that time. If I got to know about the same, I would have more knowledge. But, as they say, knowledge can never be enough, so I am happy that I know what it takes to be a good blogger.

Blogger is the person for whom we can use the word ‘Adroit.’ He is an artist in his own ways. A blogger always inspires his followers and retain the hold on his readers’ mind. Personally, I think he is the person who has potential to influence others by using the talent aptly. Socially, he admired by his fans as he writes for his own purpose – purpose-to-serve. After coming closer to year number 6, I think learning can never be finished. There is no time period to learn things, and no expiry date of learning guide. You can keep move on your track to gain more knowledge; it’s a drop that can never drop your thirst.

I am completing 6 years of my blogging days and I find that if your writing inspires lives, you can be a social blogger. This free spirit of yours can enlighten millions of lives. I named it ‘Free Spirit,’ many of my friends asked about the reason behind this name. Well, you can’t bind a spirit. It will move where it wants to. You can’t stop it, you can’t even divert it. If you try to do the same, it will penetrates your way. Yes, it’s a free spirit. It will go like this where it needs to. It’s a place where I can rule. It’s my world of words. I promise to share good thoughts, quotes, and stories with my readers. I hope they will feel glad after reading this post. Thank you followers, you motivate me! I write for myself, it’s true. But, I loved it when readers feedback about it. So, it’s my 100th post, with 304 comments and 366 followers. I hope you all will enjoy reading this too and don’t forget – feed blog with your comments! Aaah trust me, it’s necessary for it’s survival and growth.

Cheers!!!

Music Inspires Me

Most of the people groove, admire, and sing with their favorite tunes. Some say it’s their life, some say it’s a divine, but I think it’s a beat that you can find in everything present in this universe. Do you remember when it rain, the dazzling drops fall on the ground and produce that tip-tip sound? That morning alarm, which wakes you up, that tick-tock sound of the clock, that beep-beep horn of your car; you can find it everywhere and nowhere. Music is what that makes you smile, music is what that makes you cry, and music is what that makes you come ALIVE. I feel it’s an inseparable thing. Inseparable because you can’t stay away from it, no matter how much you try.

Music is a kind of medicine that has a healing power. It can amuse-a-sic and make him dance on the floor. I find it right whenever I start listen my favorite list when I feel low.  Music inspires life, music inspires me. I find it everywhere, or may be always I notice its presence. It’s just need ears to capture. Nowadays, we have smartphone, ipod, ipad, and other gadgets, but I still remember when in 90’s we were used to of hearing radio and recording our favorite tracks in the tape. Those were truly golden days that I enjoyed. Music has no boundaries, it is true. I remember when I heard a Bengali song in one of my friend’s mobile. I was unfamiliar with the meanings, but then I find the rhythms so soothing. You don’t need to understand it, you eventually enjoy. I have a list of tracks including western, classic, hip-hop, love and romance. It’s a great fusion that brings me back to my own world, where I find myself grooving.  Coke studio, Rahat Fatah Ali khan, Mohit Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal are my all time favorite. I like sensational music of Enrique and find too romantic at times. It acts like a stress buster for me.

In short, music serves its best ;) You can have what you like to hear. There is one language in the world of music i.e. beats. It can only inspire, it can only make you feel good. It’s the best way to visit your own world.

One day, I met her. She was having a fine body; her small eyes were having few big dreams. She was not a fairy or a magician, still managed to keep people happy. She was a blessing from the Angel’s world. The smile she used to wear was the symbol of hiding that pain she carried all the time and got ignored by many! She was not an army woman, but a fighter. There were days when she was habitual of tears and cries. Every time she added a new hope to her life, but destiny was rude to her at times! She knew that a day come and she will smile like never before. She believed that a day come when she will get everything she deserves!

Her dreams were the only reasons behind her strong dedication. Although she met wrong ones, but found the right ones after time. She belongs to her own world and this world, surely someday; will accept her world too. I know this girl from years; I am watching her from a long time. She will not stop, she will not quit! All she will do is fight! Fight for being her, fight for being a girl! I looked at her and said- “Go on girl! Just be like this only. I know you will get all the right things in a right way!” She smiled and get back to her life once again.

God bless you!

Life is not perfect, but still one can make it worth living. Either crying for life or living all experiences with a great smile could be a choice that one can make. And, to become one of those happy-go-lucky people, you need to stay happy and love yourself. It is true that we are the ones who are responsible for whatever we do in life. But still, I don’t know why people blame others for the bad experiences they face in their lives. People may tell you to keep smiling, but there are only a few ones who will tell you how to do it.  Life is god’s gift, so making it less complicated with fears and tears, try to make it lighter and brighter with happiness. If you cannot thank people for the deeds they do for you, then don’t expect from them to do the same for you. Every person has his own value and so, realizing what matters is the greatest task.

You want to smile, smile fearlessly. You want to laugh out loud, laugh until tears pour out of eyes, but remember that you are the one who is responsible for your happiness as well as sorrows. The blame-game is on, as is evident from many real life examples. If, you help your friend in some aspects of your life and in return, you only get ignored from his/her side; remember not to blame him/her ever in your life. This is because the ‘Karma’ that you have done with all concern and respect will always stay with you. You may take this as a lesson and try to know people better than before. Rather than blaming God for all these situations, try to thank him for saving you from making mistakes in future. You should do all your work with dedication and love, and then you will notice how well and beautiful a life could be.
